报告人简介：

Prof. Milt McGiffen grew up in the farms and forests near Pittsburgh, PA. USA.  He majored in Biology at the Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 1981. His MS and PhD degrees were from North Carolina State University and the University of Illinois. After conducting research for the Illinois Natural History Survey and the US Department of Agriculture, he became an Agronomist, Plant Physiologist, and Vice Chair for Cooperative Extension from 1992 to the present. His current research is based around organic soil amendments and their effect on soil health, crop production, and the soil microbiome.
